What it Means to Be a Good Dentist

Transcript: An excellent dentist is a dentist that never stops learning and continues his or her education. The dental field is constantly changing there’s always new techniques, there’s new equipment for diagnosing, for treating patients, and an excellent dentist is just going to continue to learn so that they can utilize that. We use a device that wasn’t available probably more than two years ago and now we can use infrared light to detect cavities, so we’re not radiating the patients over and over again with traditional x-rays. And I think it’s actually a better way of diagnosing than traditional x-rays. And so just that piece alone if I would’ve stopped learning two years ago I would not have that piece of equipment in my office.
