What Is Cosmetic Dentistry?

TRANSCRIPT: So cosmetic dentistry is a very broad term. If we’re doing a filling on a back tooth, I’m using tooth-colored filling material, I’m putting anatomy in there. What I really want is if that patient were to move away from Austin and find another dentist in some other city and they look in there, I want that dentist to say wow that’s a great looking filling. So, anything from a filling but the general term for cosmetic dentistry usually is porcelain veneers, it’s smile makeovers, it’s redoing your smile, and it’s changing lives by enhancing your self-esteem by changing your smile. And we do that a lot, we do a lot of porcelain veneers here in the office.
