Lance Loveless, DDS
Dr. Lance E. Loveless was born on July 17, 1970 in Dallas, Texas and raised in Spring, Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio, which was named the #1 dental school in a U.S. News and World Report ranking, in 1997 and began working at Longhorn Dental. After realizing that he wanted to provide utmost dental care to patients without boundaries, BridgeView Dental was created in November 2000.
Hopelessly in love, contrary to his last name, Dr. Loveless married DeAnna in 1999. They have two sons, Gunnar Mateo (Big Gunns), who was born on December 03, 2002, and Max Alejandro (Maximus), who was born on April 13, 2006. Within the family, he likes to indulge his wife with tidbits of dentistry and read dental magazines to his children.
Loving all aspects of dentistry, Dr. Loveless is particularly fascinated in cosmetic dentistry- just check out his smile gallery! He also loves Italian food and is an electronic gadget monger.

Xtine - Office Manager
Xtine Khanh (pronounced Christine Con) Le-Rivera was born on November 27, 1977 in Vinh Long, South Vietnam. She was raised in San Jose, California, but moved to Austin, Texas in 1996 and graduated from James Bowie High School in the same year.
Ever since its doors first opened in 2000, Xtine has been considered a permanent fixture. Wearing many hats throughout the day, Xtine is the go-to-girl for any questions regarding all aspects of BridgeView Dental- including billing, insurance and scheduling appointments. She is very involved in patient care and you can even talk to her about your personal problems. She can always lend an open ear!
In February of 2006, 25 years after fleeing the country with her parents, David and Ana, Xtine finally got the chance to go back to her roots and visited her grandparents and many relatives that she never knew she had in Vietnam.
Upon coming to America, Xtine’s parents decided that she needed a sibling to entertain her and so she inherited a brother, Khoi Le, in 1984. He graduated Texas State (Go Bobcats!) May 2007 with a double major in Business and Dance (totally related somehow!). Since She has a family of his own now, Khoi has moved to NYC.
Xtine’s favorite food is food in general… barring anything with sour cream or cottage cheese in, on, or around it. She also loves to shop- especially for shoes.
XTINE JUST GOT MARRIED!!! …to her boyfriend of 5 years, Steven, on April 18, 2009 @ Mansion @ Judges’ Hill. Patients can view their photos at www.everafterimages.com/rivera. On their days off, you will find Xtine and Steven playing with their beloved blue fawn pit-bulls, Bullit and Kila (short for Tranquila- something she is not). Bullit is 4 years old and Kila just turned 1 this year. Xtine loves to watch sports and is a HUGE fan of the UT LONGHORNS, HOUSTON TEXANS, and SAN ANTONIO SPURS. |

Joanna - Hygienist
Joanna was born on March 3, 1976 and is the newest member of our team. She is a military brat and spent most of her early years moving from state to state. This experience has really helped her with communication in the dental field since she is used to meeting new people all the time. After graduating high school, she chose to move to the wonderful city of Austin and has resided here ever since.
Joanna brings over 12 years of dental experience to our practice ranging from dental assisting, front office and now hygiene. She was one of the first graduates from the Dental Hygiene Program at Austin Community College in 2005. Upon graduation she received the “Golden Scaler Award”, the highest honor one can achieve. She has continued her education with the JP Institute to learn the best that dental hygiene has to offer. Becoming a hygienist has really been a fulfilling goal and she absolutely loves it! She takes pride in helping patients achieve their dental goals.
Joanna has a son named Jaxon, whom she adores, and a dog named Herman. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, traveling, beaches, and going to church. |

Paulina - Dental Assistant
Paulina Park was born on April 4, 1973 on a .11 square mile island; a square mile decimal that apparently can only co-exist with the island of Moch. Moch, which means “short,” is how the island got its name. It is one of the smallest among all the islands in Micronesia. (Micro, short, .11 square miles- could they be any smaller?) The group of islands are located approximately NE of Australia or Papua New Guinea and SW of Hawaii. Something I’m sure would interest most of you since you all probably have no idea what and where Micronesia actually is.
On October 3, 1994, Paulina migrated to Austin, Texas. She left behind her family, friends, and their simple life style. (The fishes miss her too!) It’s much more complicated in the States and even worse in Texas compared to Micronesia. (Yeehaw!) She started her dental assisting career in February of 1998 and has loved it ever since. Two years into her career, she was ecstatic with the birth of her son, Ethan Jackson on September 8, 2000. She misses her home every day, but feels fortunate enough to have her mom and a few other family members in the area. Paulina was blessed with another son in 2007, Beres, who was born on Independence Day.
Paulina loves nature and bodies of water. She misses being able to just “swim” to another island. She’s an environmental nut and enjoys being outdoors.

Jenny Lu- Dental Assistant
Jenny Lu was born on May 24, 1984 in San Jose, California. She spent most of her childhood there before moving to Austin, Texas with her family in 1996. Here, she graduated James Bowie High School. She continued her education at the University of Texas at Austin and received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Jenny plans on applying for graduate school to become a Physician Assistant in the next few years.
Jenny loves to cook and bake. When you come to visit our office, you will find the aroma of fresh baked cookies, compliments of Jenny- and the office, of course. She loves anything PASTA- but is open to explore other delicacies. Her younger sisters enjoy all of her cooking concoctions, especially the desserts she bakes. Jenny adores her golden retriever Sarge, who is a graduate of the PetsMart Training Program. Since Sarge loves the outdoors, when Jenny is not studying, cooking, or working at the dental office, she is taking him on walks and having doggie picnics. Jenny tends to follow her cousin Xtine’s footsteps in spoiling their pets. You can also find Jenny relaxing with her boyfriend Jason, watching football and basketball, especially when the Houston Rockets play!
You have probably noticed that she shares the surname of our college summer intern, Julie, and with your detective skills, have also probably deduced that Jenny is in fact Julie’s sister. If you didn’t conclude that, Jenny is in fact her sister. (This was one of Julie’s cheesy jokes…)

Julie - Dental Assistant Intern
Julie Lu is our continuing summer college intern. She was born in San Jose, California on October 28, 1987 and drifted over to the Lone Star State with her parents and three sisters; Jenny, Juliann, and JinJin. (They fight over the bathroom a lot!!!) She is also the aunt of a golden retriever named Sarge, AKA Sargie, and godmother to Xtine’s beloved Bullit.
Her favorite color is yellow and her favorite food is macaroni and cheese- not because it’s yellow, but because it is cheesy; like most of her jokes! She loves to read romance novels due to the expectant happy endings and so she tends to view the glass as half full instead of half empty. Julie also volunteers at the Town Lake Animal Shelter so if anyone is willing to adopt a wonderful, loving and adorable dog, please let her know!
Currently working on her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, she is attending the University of Texas at Austin. In the future, she plans on working as a forensic chemist for the federal government. (Yes, this is completely related to interning at a dental office- people just haven’t realized it yet!!!)
